Pt. Sanjoy Bandopadhyay’s sarod disciple Smt. Troilee Dutta presented one-hour long sarod recital on 01 April 2017 evening in Delhi. It was specially arranged for the Hon’ble Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modijee and HE the Prime Minister of Malaysia dato Sri Mohd. Najib bin Tun Abdul Razak.  [April 02, 2017]


Gour Malhar, Burdwan  will felicitate Pandit Sanjoy Bandopadhyay with ‘Pandit Dhruvatara Joshi Memorial Award’ on 28 January 2017  for his extensive contribution in the field of music performance, music-teaching and music education. Ayush Ghosh will give a sitar solo recital with Ustd. Sukhvinder Singh [Pinky] on the tabla. This will be on 16 September, 2016 at Mount Royal University Theatres, Calgary, Canada on the Day 1 of the two day music festival. The festival is getting  organized by Sarb Akal Music Society.

IML student Mr. Suhas Mitra will play a sarod recital in Bangalore [India] on 06 December 2015 from 6:30 p.m.. Adarsh Shenoy will join him on the tabla.
